Nurses World Magazine (NWM) is recruiting contributors for a new webzine to launch in early 2009. NWM gained notoriety in California as an independent, glossy trade covering cutting edge issues in a volatile healthcare industry, and has been repeatedly cited by the Western Publications Association for editorial excellence.
With the decision to publish online, the organization will expand its readership to a national audience. Targeted readers include nursing professionals, allied health professionals and health-conscious consumers.
Opportunities for feature writers and bloggers for the website are available now. Contributors with published clips in these areas will be given priority consideration:

Pay range is 5 – 45 cents per word for professionals, depending upon the assignment. Feature articles typically command rates at the higher end of the stated range.
